The church was locked but as my Nikon
kissed the glass, it captured this curious mixture of church
and heaven -- perhaps Salvatore Dali meeting the Renaissance.
From the looks of the Vatican II altar, this is still used as a
church. Here, however, it is being prepared for a bit of
chamber music. The semi-circular apse meets Gothic vaulting not
visible in this picture.
