The new monastery was built in 1317 inside
the walls. The Franciscan monastery had one of the richest
churches in Dubrovnik until the 1667 earthquake destroyed it
(and most of the other buildings in town.) What was built after
that was pretty simple as in this small ashlar wall. But at the
