Around the main altar, we see a series of
frescoes by the Sicilian Gaetano Garcia showing scenes from the
life of the Jesuit founder, Ignatius of Loyola. Here this
former Basque warrior holds the Book of Rules of the Society of
Jesus. The four women represent the four continents where the
Jesuits had established missions and universities.
