Bergamo, Lomardy, Italy -- July 2006 -- Founded in 1968, the university quietly moved into buildings in the ancient center -- giving them new life while preserving the patrimony of Bergamo. This 1759 building just to the southeast of the Basilica is now the Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts.
