Bergamo, Lomardy, Italy -- July 2006 -- Here's a detail of one of the 3 double sets of renaissance statues above the library door. You tell me what the gentlemen at right is pointing to. The Italians got around to adding this facade in 1928 but executed against Scamozzi's original plans from 1604/1611 . Note the use of both Ionic and Corinthian columns.
