Yosemite National Park, California 2008 -- Here's the view of our hike from Glacier Point on the South Rim. You may have trouble seeing Dick and Jane here but we're climbing on the right side of the lower Vernal Falls and then up the left side of the Nevada Falls. This picture shows why this part of the Merced River is called the "Grand Staircase."
