Nantucket -- Another crop is ticks! Researchers from several of the fine Massachusetts universities study the life-cycle of these critters here. These life-cycles involve deer of which the islands is perhaps over-populated. Deer do not safely graze in the fall when hunting seasons open for archers, hunters, and something called "primitive firearms." We Texans are jealous of you Nantucket muzzle loaders.
